RICCARDO CENEDELLA

Riccardo Cenedella is an independent designer graduated in MA Material Futures at Central Saint Martins in London.

His practice focuses on the creation of unique furnishing objects, inspired by material experimentation and the transformation of excess waste. Through a practical approach and in-depth research he explores the possibilities of giving new life to waste materials, guided by the curiosity to enhance what is commonly considered unwanted.

For Cenedella, process and narrative are primary elements, while form and aesthetics emerge as a natural outcome of his research. His work moves fluidly between high-end and low-tech techniques, with the aim of raising awareness on the topic of hyperconsumption and waste production.

He collaborates with both private and public clients and his works have been exhibited in prestigious international events, including ADI Design Museum, London Design Festival, Milan Design Week, Collectible Brussels and Dutch Design Week. His work has been documented in notable publications such as Domus, Elle Decor Italia, Residence NL, Living Corriere.
